The purpose of physical therapy is to help you heal and return to your normal daily acitivities by improving your body's function and mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability.

You have many choices when deciding where to go for physical therapy.  Choosing the right physical therapist can mean the difference between pain relief and a speedy recovery, or a frustrating and painful experience.  Each patient's needs are different, and it is so important to be sure that you will be treated by an experienced physical therapist, and not by underqualified aides and assistants that lack the skills and education to provide proper individualized care.

This is why we offer free assessments - so that you can meet our therapist and know what to expect should you choose to continue on a course of treatment with us.

Your free assessment will allow the therapist to review your unique situation, and if it is found that you would benefit from physical therapy, he will explain the expected course of treatment and address any questions and concerns that you might have.  Should you choose to move forward with treatment, because most insurances require a doctor to prescribe physical therapy, you will be referred to either your own physician, or if you do not have one, we can recommend a physician for further assessment.  We will then send a note to your physician informing him of our findings and recommendations, so that he is prepared for your visit in advance.  After your visit, he will write you a prescription for physical therapy, which can be used for insurance purposes, and will ensure that we are working closely with your doctor so that you receive the very best care.

We see patients on an appointment basis, and our normal office hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.  We are happy to make after hours appointments in emergency situations.  To schedule an appointment, call us at (801) 444-3440.
